Clinique Foundation

I love my clinique foundation and would recommend it to anybody who suffers from minor OR major acne. This one in particular is the Clinique anti-blemish solutions liquid foundation which costs £23. This could be considered quite expensive for a foundation, but I would strongly suggest you invest in buying one. Mine has lasted me about 2 ½ months so far and I've only used about half of it. There is 30ml but it goes a long way. The people who work in the clinique section will happily help you choose the right colour and talk it through with you if you ask, and they will put some of it on to show you first.
The thing that is good about this is that it has no oil and is great for spot prone skin because as well as covering them, it will try to keep them away at the same time...great, right? Even better is that you barely need any on, which is why it lasts so long but still makes your skin look fantastic! So there will be no need to worry about your skin if you buy one of these gems! Thanks for reading :)

Natural Make-up Tutorial

Hi, so I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, so I decided so do a quick natural make-up tutorial. Although eyeliner isn't considered natural, if you apply it thinly and evenly it won't look tacky and it will bring out your eyes!
This is Clean and Clean Dual Action Moisturiser £2.99

Saffron London Eyeliner £2
Rimmel Glam Eyes £7.99
2True Smooth Matte Pressed Powder £1.99
This is 2True Concealer £1.99
Step 1: Put on a thin layer of moisturiser all over your face, but be careful around the eye area.
Step 2: Add eyeliner thinly and evenly to achieve a more natural look.
Step 3: Use the Volume applicator on your eyes to get nice eyelashes like so
Step 4: Add the concealer to your under eyes like this, then blend in with your finger to hide your dark circles or bags under your eyes. Make sure you don't rub too hard or the concealer will come off, or too lightly so the concealer is really visible.
Step 5: Use the concealer again to cover up spots or blemishes, use the same method used under your eyes but without so much concealer.
Step 6: Use the pressed powder to finish the look. Apply evenly across the face for an extra glow.

Now you're done! It's so quick and easy, and it's perfect for mornings with not much time to spare. You look natural, but still beautiful, a great combination! Possibly add some lip balm, lip smacker or vaseline to make your lips shine as well. Hope you liked my tutorial :)

Teenage Life

We all know it's difficult being a teenager isn't the easiest part of life, growing up seems to happen too fast! Sometimes we find it hard to cope with all of these changes , but there are ways around dealing with all of our problems, worries and feelings in general.
During adolescence you might feel weird about changes, think you aren't normal and worry about things , but you don't want to talk to anybody about it? You may want to ask your friends because they are going through the same as you and this can be a good idea but make sure you can trust them and hopefully they can give good advice. However, I think it's a good idea to ask your parents or guardians( I know it might be a bit awkward) but they have been through it all and can help you. If they are supportive they will help you through and ensure there is nothing to worry about. If you still don't feel comfortable talk to a school nurse because they are confidential and give good advice.
Friends
I speak from a personal point of view here saying that friends can be a difficult thing to deal with sometimes at this point in our lives. I think especially girls because we all gossip from time to time, rumour, fall out over silly little things and just generally cause drama that nobody needs, but we ALL do it! Girls seem to get more emotional more frequently than boys, which could be a factor in the fact that boys have almost no drama compared to girls.

As girls , we definitely have our suspicions about other people and always wonder and worry that people are talking about us behind our backs and that our 'friends' are backstabbing us. How do we know if they are fake or real friends? I think that FAKE friends will tend to try and get gossip out of you to spread rumours and if they know you know something of somebody else or if you're upset, they seem to be more pushy to get information. You can also tell by the way they listen and talk to you. A real friend will listen and give advice where as a fake friend would pretend to care but you could notice them not really listening and looking bored, which nobody likes.
Finally, how to be a happier teenager.( Thought we would end on a lighter note).
1) Treat yourself once in a while! I know you probably have revision to do for exams and assessments but you can't let it take over your whole life! Sometimes revision can be hard and stressful( read one of my previous posts to help with revision) but you need to go shopping or go out with friends, or to the cinema so you can enjoy yourself.
2) Live life how it makes you happy. What might make you happy is lazy days listening to music, which I love too so as long as it makes you happy.... DO IT. But I suggest you don't stay inside all weekend, get some fresh air going out with friends or family!

3) Try not to argue or be upset. I know we get upset a lot and we can find it hard to deal with but to avoid this we need to work out what we don't like and need to stay away from( this could be people if they constantly put you down) . Smile through things, be the bigger person and make everybody love your happy personality.
4) SMILE  AND LAUGH! Laughing and happiness is the best medicine! Have a laugh! Smile and make people know you are happy and a smile is so much better and more attractive than a grumpy face!!!

Hope this helped you and that you liked this article, please recommend it if you know any teens that would probably like this article. Thank you, have a nice day. <3

Think FLORAL

Floral patterns are really in right now so I thought I would show you what items of clothing I have which have floral patterns. I think floral is so adorable and cute and I love them! I would recommend you  wear floral tops with plain bottoms and vice versa because you don't want pattern clashes. You could also wear a denim jacket over or a pastel colour blazer with cute sandals and a little jewellery and nail varnish to finish the look.

5 favourite fragrances

(From left)
•Daisy by Marc Jacobs £45 for 50ml from debenhams
•Lynx attract for her £2.99 from boots
•Reb'l Fleur by Rihanna £25.95 on
www.fragrancedirect.co.uk
•Ted Baker body spray £5 from boots
•Hollister crescent bay £12 or 3 for £24

I love these because they are all fresh smells and not too overpowering. Also, you don't have to spray them much, and I have had all of them for over 6 months( except the lynx).
I mix and match with them because they smell great! I recommend you buying at least one of these!

Revision tips

When a test, assessment or exam is coming up it is sometimes stressful because you feel like you need to constantly revise to guarantee a good mark. However, I think it is worse if you constantly revise and don't allow yourself to do anything else.
To push myself to revise and revise regularly I set myself a target, for example: 15 minutes of revision before I go on my phone; or do 3 paragraphs of writing before I meet up with friends. This way, I push myself so that afterwards I can reward myself and I can feel proud knowing I have done work and I deserve my reward.

Also, you must make sure you are relaxed about it, stressing makes everything worse! I heard on the radio that just 15 minutes of meditation can calm you down and gives you 25% better results in something important(like an exam). (But although it would be weird to meditate at school, meditate at home instead).

Tell your family you are revising and not to disturb you. After worrying anyway, the last thing you want is your family annoying you, so let them know and they should be understanding.

Thank you for reading and I hope you find these tips useful and they work for you.

How to to do sparkly pink tipped nails.

What you will need....
You will need two colour nail polishes that go well together, a nail file and a clear varnish or tinted varnish.

I would recommend....
A nail file
London Girl Nail Polish colour 01- £1.49
Avon Nailwear pro Rose Quartz- £3.99
Colour Trend Nail Polish colour delicious berry- £3.00

Step 1.
File your nails to the size and shape you want. I chose rounded nails for this but you choose what you would prefer.

Step 2.
Apply one or two coats of your chosen base colour and wait until your nails are dry.

Step 3

Add the second chosen nail polish and put on the tips and make sure you follow the way your nail curves. ( round if you have rounded nails or straight if you have square nails).

Step 4.
Add the clear coat or tinted clear coat once your nails are all completely dry.

Pretty Shoes

My mom's Betty Boop comic strip high heels are beautiful! They are so creative and that's why I love them <3
